<p>Scion is proud to partner with NBC and Milwaukee based Arrival Records for its first official release, “Friday Night Lights Vol. 2” (Original Television Soundtrack).  Out on May 18th, the soundtrack includes songs by White Rabbits, Band of Skulls, Heartless Bastards, Jakob Dylan, The Avett Brothers, Sufjan Stevens, Fink and more!</p>
<p>“Working on this show is a music supervisor’s dream,” says Liza Richardson, music supervisor for ‘Friday Night Lights.’  “We use emotional indie rock, hard rock for football action, hip hop, classic rock and prayer-like twang.  On this comp we’ve focused on a handful of the more emotional selections to give the soundtrack more cohesiveness if not an exact reflection of the diversity of music.”</p>
<p>Check out the full track listing here: <a href="http://www.fridaynightlightsvol2tvsoundtrack.com/" target="_blank"><span style="color: #00703c;"><strong>www.fridaynightlightsvol2tvsoundtrack.com</strong></span></a> and look out for the ‘Friday Night Lights’ season 4 premiere May 7th on NBC.</p>

<p>Released on their newly-formed record label ‘Heart &amp; Skull’ (a joint venture with Epitaph Records), “This Addiction” sounds more like Alkaline circa 1998 than 2008.  When asked about going back to the bands punk roots, front man Matt Skiba explains: “Another thing that makes [“This Addiction”] resemble our earlier records, especially our first record, is that it&#8217;s really personal. Everything on the record is stuff that definitely hits close to home for us and we tried to communicate that in the songs.”</p>
